Vancouver - Shortly before 5 p.m. yesterday, police responded to a report of shots being fired in the west lane of Hornby Street at Helmcken. When police arrived, they found a mobility scooter with multiple bullet holes. The driver of the scooter, a 43-year-old Vancouver woman, ran to St. Paul's hospital where she was located by police, uninjured. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. Investigators believe that there was an ongoing dispute between the man and woman and that she was the target of the shooting. Update:Vancouver – Suspected shooter Gerry Pennell has been arrested in Vancouver without
incident according to the Vancouver Police Department.
